Emma Jane Bach was born on the 17th of April, 1996, in La Laguna, Tenerife. She is a University of La Laguna graduate, holding a degree in Fine Arts with a Painting concentration.

Her psychological and analytical work represents themes like liminality, alienation, dissociation, nostalgia, memories, introspection and the subconscious mind through a pictorial language which fuses subjects who are lost in thought and a fragmented space. Her style, often figurative and in-between painting and illustration, also shows occasional references to pop culture and occultism. Her recent works revolve around rituals, faith and community in the context of the Canary Islands.

She has been awarded several prizes, including the First National Painting Prize Enrique Lite and the First Prize in the Open-Air Speed Painting Competition of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. She is currently based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and is developing her new work in a residency in La Regenta Art Center.
