Emma Jane Bach was born on the 17th of April, 1996, in La Laguna, Tenerife. She is a University of La Laguna graduate, holding a degree in Fine Arts with a Painting concentration. Her psychological and analytical work represents themes like liminality, alienation, dissociation, nostalgia, introspection and the subconscious mind through a pictorial language which fuses subjects who are lost in thought and a fragmented space. In addition, her style shows references to pop culture and occultism. The main objective she has set herself is to reach a harmonious balance between her dichotomous artistic interests: realism and minimalism; figure and abstraction; academy and avant-garde; volume and flatness; gesture and precision; noise and silence.
